WHAT'S YOUR FITNESS PERSONALITY?

IF YOU'VE SPENT serious money on home exercise equipment only to find it collecting dust, you're not alone. In a 2007 survey by the Consumer REports National Research Center, 37 percent of respondents admitted they used theirhoe exercise equipment less frequently than they had anticipated. But it's not necessarlily a lack of wilpower that's rendering that equopment useless; it could be a conflict with their fitness personalities.

It may be that your temperament is best suited to community exercise — group-fitness classes or working out with a frind at the gym, for example. other personality types crave outdeoor activity, such as hiking, climbing or group bike rides.
